Domaginarium’s Versatile Skin Shader is an extremely versatile and realistic skin material for Unity that includes a wide variety of controls and options, letting you tweak pretty much any aspect of your skin’s look. Not only it can used to create amazing skin materials, but can also be used to simulate other materials, like wax, marble, velvet, leather, etc. Features: – Ability to add color tint to the base texture, so you can experiment with different colors inside your game (specially useful if you want to make a character creator in your game, or want to quickly add skin variations for NPCs using the same texture). – Control over color texture saturation, that can be used to simulate various effects or stats in your game, like taking damage, low health. – Metallic map support, plus Metallic+Gloss controls to simulate wet skin or sweat. – Sub-Surface Scattering displays a subtle blood rim along the lit-dark areas for increase visual realism. – Emissive channel map, to simulate glowing tattoos or magical skin marks. Support for color tint means you can change the color of the glowing tattoo, even at runtime. – Support for two normal maps (a regular normal map and a detail normal map), each with its own normal map intensity. – Additional normal map channels, with intensity controls, to add dynamic wrinkles via normal maps. – Tattoo layers that you can use to add tattoos to your characters. You can even control the opacity of the tattoos to make them appear/disappear dynamically. – Support for alpha textures, that can be used for fabrics with cut-out transparent patterns, and also to mask parts of the body so they don’t show through an outfit. – Supports both OpenGL, DirectX, Metal, and PS4 (Not tested on Xbox and Nintendo platforms). – Supports Unity’s Standard renderer, HDRP, URP and LWRP. This shader is constantly updated, with more features and compatibility with newer versions of Unity, as well as rendering pipelines. Women character models and textures not included. Due to limitations in scriptable pipelines, the materials support a limited number of wrinkle maps compared to the Standard renderer. Report this asset
